So here we are in London, trying to get to Cairo. Our flights are booked for October 3rd, 2020. Today, we learned that despite everything online saying that we are eligible for free COVID tests, which we are required to take, we will have to pay £175 ($225) per person for the tests. The tests are required in order to board our flight to Egypt. I know we are testing your generosity, but we are asking for your help again. This unexpected, 14 day, layover in London has completely tapped us and we are desperate to make it to our final destination, in order to start working again. Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on our world and it looks as if it’s not done yet.
